Shamrock Cove Inn

Definitely will stay here again when I'm in the area. The service is good and the rooms are clean. It's an old renovated motel. The room I stayed in was a small, neat, cozy room; a twin like daybed. It had a new comfortable mattress. The bathroom still had the original shower that was clean and big. Outside the room, you have a setting area. No card key, but a key fob that you really don't have to keep up with as you can enter the last four digits to the phone number that you give to them. Excellent and thank you!

It is more than I expected for the cost.. its not a 5 star resort and im rating it accordingly. Check in was super easy and getting into the room with keyless entry was convenient. Having a couple waters was nice some major hotels dont give you that. Proximity to downtown is great

We had the king sized bed room. The place was clean, the TV worked and the water was hot. For this price and location you couldn't beat it. We walked to downtown (6 minutes) for dinner and drinks. They are still under renovations but it worked for us!

The twin bed room is is about 8 x 14 foot, plus a good sized bathroom. Shower was hot. Floor and bathroom seemed clean. The comforter had some stains. There is traffic noise, and I needed a mask to make it darker for sleeping. The heater on the mini-split did not work, and the temp outside dropped to 32 degrees. So my room was in the low 60s in the morning. The manager made a special trip to 2 Walmarts and found me a space heater at a DG to keep me from being cold in my room. Thanks!

This is an older (historic) hotel that has had some updates. It was very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent.

For the price it was perfect. Friendly reception. To my surprise the beds were super comfortable. Clean linens. Good towels Yes we use our own pillows when traveling. Same hold true if I was staying at a 5 star luxury hotel. Easy hotel to get to. Park your car right in front of your room is a great bonus. We were only staying for a night to continue our travels and it was great. Starbucks 2 blocks away if needed. Nothing negative to say

For the price, this is perfect. Wanna a $200 room, go down the road to the characterless Hilton. This is a sweet little place, recently renovated with superb amenities in the room. The A/C is an 'AC Split' unit high on the wall with a remote: no noisy clattering 1980's window unit; there is water and biscuits (cookies) for us, clean comfortable bed and plenty of accessible outlets (for 'devices' etc). The staff I met were very pleasant and helpful, so no issues there at all. The only reservation I have is that we were going to a concert at the Reilly Centre: the walk is for the most part pleasant but for a couple of blocks, it's through a fairly industrial area (parts of which are protected by a chainlink fence adorned with signs warning us the adjacent fence was electrified with 7000v across it: hence the four stars). Unlike other comments, we heard neither noise from the road nor neighbours. We'd go back!
